Day 1: At 08:00 am in the morning drive to Demra Ghat (15km) to board the boat. Upon your boarding the boat will start cruising up of the river immediately and tea-snacks will be served, This river and also the riverbank are full of activities, which will give you pleasure and full fill your photographic interest. You will love to see the engine boats caring vegetable, seasonal fruits and so many other natural beauties. You will see fishing with different type of fishing net and trap. At the same time you will enjoy the livelihood of the people living at the bank of the river. We should not mention all the possible scenes you might see so that you can discover those on your own and have fun. After 45 minutes we will anchor our boat in a place named Murapara. You will have a chance to get down there and have a walk through an Zaminder's Palace (Old Landlords house), which has been converted to an educational Institute(college) now. Under the British govt. it was an administrative unit lead by the local Landlord for the British. You can also visit a Jute Mill here on the bank of the river with a prior information to the management. The cruising will continue upstream further for almost one hour before turning back, you can have a swimming session in a convenient place. Around 13:00 hours, lunch will be served along with mineral water for drinking. During the cruise, you will see the Gangetic dolphins in the river. On way back, we shall serve you tea/coffee with cookies before stopping at Ruposhi /Noapara Famous Jamdani Palli (handloom factory) to show you the weaving of traditional Jamdani fabric, very popular with our ladies as Sharee. Day 1 : Leave Dhaka in the early morning by car/coach for Srimangal (191km). The journey will take around 5 to 6 hours of drive. On way, at Telia para forest you will have your first bird watching stop. Here you will spend some hours and during this time you will explore this place from a bird watcher’s point of view. You are likely to see rare forest-birds, Bazas and Hornbills in this small forest. On this day, packet lunch will be served. On arrival at Srimangal around mid-day, check in to the guesthouse of Heed Bangladesh, Bangladesh Tea Research Institute, or at the best available local hotel. After little rest over a cup of Tea, the accompanied guide will take you out to show the Tea Plantation, Rubber Garden, and the Monipuri village. Day 2 : After breakfast, you will visit the The Lawacherra rainforests are habitat of hanuman monkeys, other rare species of Pheasents, Hornbills, Forktails and Laughing-Thrushes birds and wild animals. We shall also try to show you the plucking of Tea leaves (two leaf & a bud), mostly by the woman worker in a typical style, tea factory (if that is in operation). You will also visit the Khasia and Tipra tribal villages. After lunch in the restaurant of your guesthouse, you will be taken to the Monipuri village, where you can see their traditional weaving and their lifestyle from a close angle. You can also buy some finished textile from them. Then you will visit the Tea worker's village. Back to the guesthouse/hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast you will travel by car / coach to Madhavpur lake, a beautiful lake surrounded by Tea Plantation and small hills / Madhabkunda via Maulvibazar and start bird-watching in a small forest with a stream flowing through. Small passerines , shy ground –dwellers, rare babblers and thrushes will be the possible rewards for you at this place. We can also take you to the nearby Hail Haor. These Haors are natural depressed lands holding water almost round the year. Here we shall arrange a country boat for you to move around and look for the possible Raptors, rare water birds like Jacanas and waders. back to hotel Overnight in Srimongal.

At present, this service is open for 4 days a week (Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) from Dhaka, leaving at 1800 hours. On this trip, we shall provide first class cabin accommodation on the boat. Each cabin has twin bed. On this trip, the food is not included, but you can buy food from the restaurant on the boat. Please note that beer or hard liquor is not available in the restaurant. Overnight on the Paddle Steamer. You will spend this whole day on the boat enjoying the riverine beauty and the country side along the river ways. The Steamer will have port of call to all important port towns on its route.
